Career Counseling

Our team from the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) GIKI Chapter had the chance to visit a college in the underprivileged town of Ghazi as part of our outreach program. We went there with one goal—to share our experiences and guide the students in any way we could.

A special thanks to the principal Amer Elahi for their support, Executive Council, and the dedicated members.

It wasn’t just about giving advice; it was about really connecting with them. We spent the day talking to these young minds about their dreams and what’s possible if they follow their passions, especially in the world of tech and computing. Seeing their excitement, their curiosity, and that spark of ambition made the entire trip worth it.

For a lot of these students, the future feels uncertain, and many of them don’t have the same opportunities we’re lucky to have. But today was about showing them that their dreams are just as important and achievable. We talked about careers, shared what we’ve learned through our own struggles, and encouraged them to stay curious and keep pushing forward.
